Dead On!

It’s Dead On!  That’s what we hear a lot in the Tribe.  So here are a few snippets of the Tribe’s comments and incredible stories.  Feel free to get in touch if you would like to share your experiences of being part of the Tribe.

           “My Tribal story began about 9 months ago…..the year before I’d had one of the best and one of the worst years of my life. 2011 started with the birth of my beautiful daughter Anna and tragically ended with my beautiful mum losing her battle with cancer. New life & death in one year meant the year was spent struggling with my post baby weight whilst battling with comfort eating as we nursed mum at home until she died.
So as you can imagine 2012 started out on a low for me. I had gained a stone in weight over the year, had done no exercise for about 2 years between pregnancy, caring for my mum and looking after a toddler and a baby! My self-esteem was at an all-time low. And then I found Tribal Fitness!!
I have always done some form of exercise from hockey to bit of running and going to the gym but nothing I have done compares to Tribal Fitness! It has given me a new lease of life helping me lose weight, improve my mood, getting some ‘me’ time away from things, meeting new people and really enjoying exercising again!! Since I’ve started it my weight is back to what it was before I had my 2 kids, my pre-pregnancy clothes fit again and I’m finally feeling the cloud lift over my life!!
So basically I want to say a huge thank-you for helping me get things back on track! I’ll not lie there are times I couldn’t see it far enough as we tackle ‘Hilary’ for the 10th time, but you pushing me to my limit and motivating me to keep going makes a big difference! I’ve had loads of comments from friends and family on how much weight I’ve lost and how well I look and I’m so much happier with ‘me’ now! I’ve loved seeing new faces join the tribe as the months have passed and every one of them has commented how much they love Tribal fitness!
Basically Tribal Fitness has been a lifesaver! I can’t believe I’m actually enjoying exercising and enjoying exercising outside!! Rain, hail or shine I love it!
Bring on the winter now!

“This has been the longest and hardest I’ve worked my body in a long time. At times I could have cried, lifting tyres and running up steps can break even the hardiest of characters, but more frequently there was laughter, laughter and a lot of sweat. Saturday morning boot camps had to be the most rewarding. 9am on the beach with the tribe, it almost became like a team sport, great camaraderie, great scenery, great way to kick start the weekend. 1 on 1 sessions are without doubt, the hardest you will ever work yourself! Every single push up, lunge or squat must count! The PT sessions I think are where I got most results, no where to hide, reminders on how to get the most out of each exercise, and a motivator standing with a stopwatch pushing you to keep going! For me this has been an eye opener, how effective simple exercises can be.” Tori

“I have been attending tribal boot camp for approx. 4-5 weeks and have just completed my 9th session.  In this short time, while I have not dropped a lb in weight, I have dropped a clothes size.  I have found my overall fitness levels are improving with each session.  When I first started, the idea of jogging from one side of the park to the other was horrendous, now I am participating in hill sprints (a big thing for me).  Anyone who wants to get out into the fresh air, meet new people and have fun while you work out, I would seriously recommend tribal boot camp.” Kim.
